Mites and Tykes Program
Mini Mites: For players born in 2006
Will play on Tuesday nights at Brenner Park in Sharon. This is the first year of our youth soccer program that introduces players and families to the sport of soccer. Format is geared to much more of an interactive, skills building and development program and is less focused on a true “Game Format”
We are looking for high school students that are interested in being involved in our mini-mites program. Please email the club at egsc@rogers.com .
Mites: For players born in 2005
Will play on Wednesday nights at Brenner Park in Sharon. The second or our youth soccer program breaks our players into teams where the first 15 minutes is geared to skills building and developmental activities and the final 30 minutes will be a “game Format”. Two 15-minute halves will be played with a break in-between. Play will be “continuous play” with no referees involved, where players can continue to move the ball up and down the field.
Tykes: For players born in 2004
Will play on Thursday nights at Brenner Park in Sharon. Our third year of our youth program is geared to preparation for our U8 divisions. Teams will play two 20-minute halves with a scheduled break. The first 15 minutes will again focus on skill building and developmental activities. Referees will be introduced in our Tykes programs and will assist in the teaching of the rules of soccer for our young players.
